The classic toddler games in HABA's my very first games series have been enjoyed by families for over 30 years. The perfect first game for 1-4 players ages 2 years and up.
Forest Friends includes 2 game variations and endless ideas for free-play. Children practice recognizing and naming animals, plants and everything else they can find in the forest. This game encourages observation, vocabulary and language development and memory skills.
In the "Hide and Seek" game, players help Mia mouse find her forest friends that are hiding. Land on a tile and try to guess which hole that particular animal is hiding in.
If you choose the right hole, you get a wooden star as a reward! If not, you tell the other players what you saw (will they remember when it's their turn?). The game ends when all the stars are gone from the sky. They player who has collected the most stars wins!
In the "reading tracks variant", the animal tiles are flipped over, revealing
